President's Message

Greetings in April, 2006!

We had a great meeting in April with Alton Sizemore's forensic accounting presentation. His interactive program was entertaining as well as informative. Unfortunately, his slides are not available for posting to our website so those of you who missed his presentation will not be able to access this information. However, the March seminar handouts I received from some of the speakers are now available on the Meetings Page.

Plan to attend our May meeting, May 18th, 2006, at Alabama Power's headquarters office downtown. The address is 600 North 18th Street. Remember, we'll pick up lunches from the food court and meet in the Electra Room. The meeting will start at 11:30 a.m. This will be our annual meeting where we review the financial statement and elect officers for 2006-2007. We will also be given a tour of Alabama Power Company's archives, presented by Bill Tharpe, APCO's archivist.
