President's Message

We had a big crowd at our October meeting and it was great to see everyone! Our speaker Sandra Vinik charmed us all with her dry wit as she educated us about the correct documentation required for protection from EEOC litigation.

On November 17th we'll go on a field trip - a tour of Iron Mountain records storage center. We'll meet at the Iron Mountain facility at 3100 First Avenue South, Birmingham AL 35233. It's not hard to find if you take the 3rd and 4th Avenue South exit off of highway 31 downtown. We'll include directions with the monthly email invitation to the meeting. Momma Goldberg's Deli will cater lunch for us, so the cost for this meeting will be a little less, $10 instead of the usual $15.

In December we'll have an after-hours Christmas party! Please bring your spouse, significant other, best friend or favorite colleague. We'll mingle, network, eat, drink, and be merry. Haven't set the date yet but it probably will not be our usual 3rd Thursday of the month, since that is so close to Christmas Day. We'll announce the date and location as soon as we get plans finalized.
